We are a family run business offering a friendly personal touch to ensure a pleasant stay in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

Lochside is a quality self catering holiday caravan situated at Roughburn, Tulloch on the A86, 7 miles from Roy Bridge at the foot of Meall Clachaig and Meall Bhaideanach mountains. There are stunning views of Laggan Dam as well as Ston an t-Sleibhe and Sliabh Loraich mountains opposite.

We are a pet friendly working small holding with several farm animals on hand to entertain and interest you when you walk around to appreciate the stunning views.

For your convenience the animals are kept segregated from your accommodation and the car parking area, but are easy to see, we encourage responsible interaction with our animals and will be pleased to accommodate if you would like to experience the fun of feeding time, just ask us and we will be happy to arrange this with you.

With the sheep and their lambs,chickens, pigs and the greedy goats there is always something to see and feed at Roughburn.

We are only 20 miles from Fort William in the heart of Lochaber the Outdoor Capital of the UK and ideally situated for bagging the local Monro’s as well as the UK’s highest mountain the majestic Ben Nevis.
